Why Does CoMetrics require Security Verification when I sign in?

CoMetrics requires all users to verify their identity using two pieces of information: a password and a unique code we send when you log in. This helps better protect our customer's data.

MFA for Enhanced Security

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA, sometimes called two-step verification) adds an extra layer of security to your account. Each time you log in, you will receive a one-time verification code on your device. You can choose to receive that code via SMS (text message) or through an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.

Prefer text messaging?

Please add +1 before your phone number during setup.

Use numbers only, with no spaces (e.g. +19785550123).

Note: The +1 country code is required for US numbers. If you are outside the US, enter your full international country code instead (e.g. +44 for the UK). If you lose access to your MFA method, contact support to recover your account.

We only use this phone number to send your verification code — it is never stored or shared for any other purpose.

Prefer an app?

Choose any authenticator app you prefer. Commonly used options include Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator. These apps are available in your device's app store (App Store on iOS or Google Play on Android).
